I hate to be a cliché but Autumn is undoubtedly my favourite month (although I do say that about every month lol). I’m very lucky to live just a few miles away from the New Forest, so as soon as that first leaf falls, I’m whizzing along in my little car ready to capture the beautiful Autumn light.
The other day I drove off to Bolderwood, just west of Lyndhurst, in the hope of seeing some deer. Bolderwood itself was actually quite disappointing: no deer, lots of screaming children and fights for spaces in the busy car park. This wasn’t quite the idyllic, peaceful New Forest walk I was after. Just before you approach Bolderwood, however, there are numerous smaller car parks and walks, so I opted for one of these instead!
The light was just perfect. Dappled sun shone through the trees, making leaves golden and autumnal shrubs look as if they were on fire.
Of course I wore my brown pan velvet palazzo trousers from Zara. Autumn walk = brown velvet Zara trousers. Obvs. My jumper is a cashmere Brandy Melville one and was the bargain price of £40.
Where have you been for an Autumn walk? Hope you enjoy my photos!
